Considering for a moment the bookish path of this past year, we are happy to celebrate this week that the Bay Area Book Festival is launching the 7th year of its annual event. This self-proclaimed “bridge to everywhere” event begins May 1st and runs through May 9th.
Exploring our public libraries
We are fortunate to have such an array of public library resources in our greater communities. Taking them for granted would be a mistake. They are a great gift to be recognized and taken advantage of. Generations of Americans have not had access to the services that are accessible to everybody today. For free. How awesome is that?!

Padres are fortunate to have access to devices, Internet service and computer science education, but not everyone does. Many non-profit educational organizations are working hard to change that!
